ABOUT US

The Association of Benedictine Colleges and Universities (ABCU) is a nonprofit organization consisting of institutions across the United States and Canada that are committed to academic and professional excellence. The Association of Benedictine Colleges and Universities is made up of 14 schools. These colleges and universities range in location. From Saint Leo University in Florida all the way to St. Peter’s College in Canada, these institutions all share one goal. Deeply rooted in the Rule of Saint Benedict, the Benedictine education focuses on the hallmarks of love, prayer, stability, conversatio, obedience, discipline, humility, stewardship, hospitality and community. This type of education not only prepares students for academic success, but also keeps the values instilled in them for a lifetime.
